My name is Reb! I am a digital artist, illustrator, and a creative with a passion for character design and funny critters. I have a BFA in scenic design for theatre and scenic painting.My skills vary widely, and my art style is able to adapt based on the requirements for the project. From rendered portraits to illustrative cartoons, my purpose is to make others smile, to make their hearts jump, to make them feel something. I have been drawing ever since I can remember. I always knew art would become a big part of my life. Growing up I watched anime AMVs on repeat, and my friends and I would pause and draw our favorite frames. I had notebooks filled with doodles in the margins, original characters and creatures flowing out of me, mimicking the books and shows that inspired me. the pen on the page was soothing, and having a world to escape to after class made me realize how much more there was to creating, and to life. When I was 13, I got my first tablet, made a deviantArt, and dove head first into digital art.My track was not a traditional one. While taking a detour in college to study theatrical production, the online structure of my last year meant that I was able to take illustration courses outside my major. My Professors gave me incredible support and motivation, and they made me realize that I am capable of being a freelance artist, despite the different path.Since then, I have grown my career as a freelance artist online through content creation. I have met so many wonderful creative people through online art communities. We continue to push each other to grow, connect each other to resources and networks, and light the fire in each other. This connection is crucial, and I hope my work can somehow make art more accessible to those who need it.

Now, I am starting my second year as a freelance illustrator and content creator. I stream as a Vtuber on twitch, while cultivating my own incredible online community. I take commissions for characters and portraits, and I have even made my own merchandise of my stream mascot, Melvin the space travelling opossum. This year I hope to develop Melvin's story, and maybe even create a book about him.
